My first brush with a Cougar was in high school in the mid-seventies. My friend Joe's girlfriend had a dark green '67 with a 289 and we used to go cruising in it. It had an 8 track and the tape was stuck in it and everywhere we went was accompanied by Kiss 'Destroyer'.

first time I ever saw a cougar was when i was about 8 i was riding with my mother through san fransisco and we passed by some projects and i saw a guy with a 69 i beleive emerald green with awhite interior. gold wire rims and a gold cougar hood emblem on it dont know how he got it on there but it was there and from that day forward i wanted one but i still perfer the 67 over any other year the one i have now is the second one ive owened the first one was a gt with a 3 speed in it and a 289 guess the original owner took out the 390
