Hey Guys,

Can someone please tell me or point me to a diagram that would show me how the sparkplug wires are arranged on the coil packs and on the cylinders of a '85 Cougar with a 4.6L engine?

If so, I'd sure appreciate someone advising me or directing me to such a layout....

Thanks in Advance,,,, Ryan

Ryan, is the engine in your cougar stock? I can't find coil packs for 1985.

Ryan, I whipped up a diagram for you, and its at http://friemothc.freeservers.com/photo.html I did it that way to make it easy for the both of us. If you can't read it, here is a verbal description: facing front of car, left cylinder block front/rear is 1234. right cylinder block front/rear is 5678. left side of left coil pack front/rear is 3,5. right side of left coil pack front/rear is 1,6. right side of right coil pack front/rear is 7,4. left side of right coil pack front/rear is 8,2. Your firing order is 13726548. Sorry about all the yappity yap. Anyway, hope it helps ya. Chris
