Did the Eliminators have special colors or did they use the colors offered for the Cougar?

Exterior Colors:

69 White, Bright Blue Metallic, Competition Orange, and Bright Yellow.

70 Competition Orange, Blue, Yellow, Green, Gold and Pastel Blue (and Special Order Black).

Interior Trim:

69 3 colors ONLY, Black (5A), Blue (5B), and White w/Black components (EA).

70 Black or White only (except Blue w/Pastel Blue paint only).

Thanks for the info!

Is that 69 Boss picture you posted the stock color? If so is it the same as any of the other factory Ford colors? I?m looking for a new color for my coupe and can?t decide on a color but I?m sure it?s going to be blue.

That's the "Bright Blue Metallic". I believe the color code was "6" in 69 - not 100% sure on that though. Very similar to Ford's "Acapulco Blue".

Go to a Ford dealer and look at 2003 Ford "Sonic Blue". Really nice color - easy to get paint (& touchup paint) if you use a "modern" color....
