I was looking through an old magazine at a 69 Eliminator. The grill and taillights were not blacked out? I know 70's were blacked out, but I guess 69's weren't?Just curious,

I was just leafing through some older mags last night and found another couple of cougar pics and articles. There was another 69 Eliminator that didn't have blacked out taillights, so I guess 69's didn't have the blackout taillights, only the 70's.BTW, I dig the blackout taillights.

A friend of mine had one(a 69)back in high school and it had a chrome grill and tail lights.
