my power attenna goes up when I start my cougar now even though the radio isn't on...it stays up the whole time the car is running no matter what...

Is this a faulty ground wire??

What do you have the power line for the antenna connected to?

I don't have a clue...

I would have to take a better look at it. It is all factory. I was hoping maybe someone had ran into this problem before and could tell me that the ground was bad or something.

If I get a chance I will investigate it more this weekend.

Sorry, I didn't realize that it was a late model cougar. It might be a faulty radio, though.

I didn't find the time to look at it anymore in depth this weekend...I think I am just going to let it go considering it doesn't happen all the time'yet'...just every now and then.
