aaaahhh!!!!i went to daddys today and got to see the 69 cat-vertible for the first time since he painted her!! oh!!! she looks so fabulous!!!! we decided to go with the original colour, which is yellow.... and it is a light light creamy yellow.... she looks very calm and collected.... and itchin' to get out of the garage and on the road!!! i spent all day cleaning trim pieces. we got all the rear end pieces installed and put the bumper on.... the bumper has a snaggle-tooth problem and daddy is going to take it off and see if he can straighten her out. if not.... kk is shopping for a "new" bumper... the interior is still taken apart.... oh we have a nice mess on our hands, but i LOVE to play in the garage! i was going to exhaust a roll of film on her but we decided to leave her on stands in the garage so we could reach her without killing our backs.... so it wasnt an optimum photo-op today.... hopefully soon!! i am getting so excited about so much stuff its incredible!!!! more as it happens! kaylin ------------------ the original GRRL... ford true-blue-blood 62 fairlane 500 sports coupe, she will be my street-legal-drag-racing-machine (CHIKCOOP) 66 fairlane 500 4-door (waiting for a new home...maybe) 67 fairlane 500 ranchero (SPUNKY67) currently undergoing a heart transplant... from a 302 to a 351W carolina cougar club cougar club of america 67 cougar: dan gurney special (KWAZYKAT) 69 cougar standard convertible (KATSMEOW) 84 F150 (TRUKGRRL) the only polish on my nails is "ford grease black" https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/kwazykat.html

Congrats. Cant wait to see those pics. Had some unfortunate happenings last weekend was putting bumpers in the rafters and hit the rear window.....CRASH!!! So now im looking for a new rear window. And does anyone know of a place that makes manuals that show how to putt the interior back together, the only thing i have left inside is the steering column and wheel. Hopefully be able to get her to the paint man soon. Once again congrats & thanks for any info.matt

hey matt!use the jim osborn link at the top of this page... he has an interior manual you may find useful for putting your cat back together.... dad took my dash out so he could re-wire everything .... also had to re-install the heater components and oh my lord what a mess that was!! the guy i bought her from had hack-sawed all of the heating pieces and parts outta there... geeesh! what a headache! he had also removed all the air conditioning components (to lighten her up for the strip...oh well...) but i was able to buy a used unit that had been stored with TLC.... so dad had to get all that together as well those cats sure are a mess when you get them on the operating table... i plan to get some pics when we move her out of the garage into the sun.... kk

Hey KK, The color of your 69 Cat sounds like the same color of my 69 Coupe, if it is, it is called Meadowlark Yellow. Looks like a creamy washed out yellow. ------------------ Mike & Robin 65 Mustang Fastback 69 Mustang Coupe 87 LTD CV 96 Ranger Extd Cab PU 99 Explorer Sport M&M #- 890 MCA #- 04549
