Hey everybody!

Just a little progress report. I had just gotten my 351C-4v entirely rebuilt and back together at the end of May. With still less than 100 miles on it, I decide to tinkier with it, ha ha. I went ahead and pulled off the Blue Thunder intake and replaced it with the Strip Dominator. Why? Because the MSD distributor did not like the big dual plane runners. They were very close to touching and there was not enough movement to allow me to adjust the timing.

The strip dominator leaves plenty of room for distributor adjustment, the car is all back together, so I am happy!

I have 31 spline axles ready to go in along with 4.11's. A driveshaft loop is also waiting, along with the new wheels and a set of slicks.

Next trip to the track- Aug 4-6.

How are all of you progressing with your cougar's?

Tom

Glad to hear your cat is running again!!!
I had a little mishap with mine. I was at the drag races and it started to drizzle a little so my daughter went to the car (9yr old) and the next thing I knew a guy came up and told me my car just ran into a van. My daughter pulled it out of park and it coasted down a hill and hit a caravan. The van was towed away because the fender was against the tire and it broke the steering lock. My cougar got a broken reverse light, a brnt quarter extension and a wrinkle in the quarter within 1 inch of the rear edge. Nobody was in the van and my daughter didn't get hurt so it wasn't to bad but now I have bodywork to do. Good thing I was planning on painting it this winter huh......$@%$#@(&

Thanks
John
