Well where I begin. I am hoping someone here can help me with my 97' cobra mustang. About two weeks ago my car broke down at a local fast food place. It started with the veh. Acting like it wanted to stall, after about five min. in the drive through fighting to keep it running I popped the hood. One of my distributor wires had blown apart where it met the coil pack on the drivers side. After replacing both coil packs, spark plugs and new wires it still would not run right. At that point it would start the veh. And it would idyll but if I gave it gas it would shut off. So I then replaced the fuel filter witch seemed to make the matter worse. Finally I replaced the (TPS) witch I had problems with in the past, as a last resort to fix the problem on my own. It didnt seem to help at all. Also the veh. Seems to have no fuel pressure at all. When I depress the valve on my fuel rails only air comes out. What has stumped me on that is that I was getting pressure before I changed the (TPS), but like I explained before if I depressed the gas pedal it would stall. So my question is does anyone have an idea what would cause this? I would love any advice on the current problem i am having so please let me know if youve got something.

when the car is cold and you turn the key on(don't turn the starter over) just turn the key on do you hear any noise from the gas tank area like a buzz or hummm, you should if you don't my guess would be your fuel pump is going south on you...
