Hi all,
The 03 Mach 1 has some brake squeaks coming from the rear wheels occassionally. The cars 36 month warranty is up at the end of May, are brakes covered by the initial warranty and should I have them check it out? The car only has 15,300 miles on it right now.

Is this as easy as pulling a wheel and spraying some brake cleaner on there to fix it?

I just figure 15,000 miles is way too soon to have the brakes squeaking is all.

I'd try the cleaner first. You may also want to take any glaze off the pads that may be present - wire brush (hand powered).

Don't do what my brother did a long time ago with his Cushman Eagle scooter - brakes squeak; olil elimnates squeaks; oil brakes.

A comedic moment followed as he had to run the scooter into a hedge row to get stopped.

I had to redo the brakes on my 02 GT at around 55,000. I needed rotors too at that change.
