Well, first off, the transmissions were different from 93 to 94. The input shafts were longer on the 94-95 cars so the tranny may/may not line up with the cross memeber. Also, the 94/95 cars have completely different timing covers, accessories and accessory brackets. You can make the 93 computer work, but you really need a conversion harness to do it, and it isn't really worth it. The 94+ cars also have electric fans where the fox cars don't. The engine itself will be fine, but it will take a lot of other parts to swap it over. Was the 94 originally a V6 or a GT? If it was a V6, you are in for a lot more work to upgrade to a V8. Hope this helps.Scott

Yes, the Fox body oil pan is the same as the SN-95. Also, the motor mounts are the same. The engines are also the same, it is just the accessories and exhaust that is different. Depending if you have to pass emissions or not, you will probably need 94-95 headers, an intake with the elbow, 94-95 wiring harness, CCRM, computer etc. You can make your transmission work if you want by replacing the input shaft with a newer one, replace the bearing retainer, and then a new bellhousing. The fox and 94-95 bellhousing have the clutch fork come out in different spots. How much of the 94 is there? Is there any wiring, accessories or anything?Scott

Can't help you there. Haven't done a carb swap, nor have I researched it as I intend on keeping both of my cars EFI. Sorry.Scott

what ya need is a good Carn intake and Carb. If you are doing this on a street car, you will more than likely never pass emissions again, but you can get a few more ponies out of it by yanking the computer, air pump, cats, and other emission equipment.------------------ _ _ _ _____________ _ _ _ Matt Kelty 94GT underdrive pullies, K&N filter, 65MM TB, 24LB injectors, 3.73SVO gears, Pro5.0 shifter, JMS custom chip, Centerforce II clutch, MSD 6AL ingintion, 190 LPH fuel pump, and adjustable FPR.
