Author Topic:   99 Mustang GT Vert shark5326 Journeyman Posts: 1 From: Moultrie,Ga Registered: Jul 2004 posted 07-22-2004 03:24 PM                The other on the way back from the beach i heard a sqealing coming from my 99 mustang gt and while i was dropping a freind off it started smoking and got louder so i parked it now when i start it it squeals and i can feel my cluth jumping a little i was told it was the throwout bearing and it might be hard for me to fix it can anyone tell me what i need to do other than going to a mechanic for $600 i do know a little about tranny's.
