Which Mustang Calipers are the best as far as stopping power and availability? I am adapting them to a Mus II spindle for my 1957 F100.

well if oy are wanting ot go with a stock type setup. the 99-04 GT calipers are Great PBR products. they will stop jsut as fast as the cobra with the 13" rotors, but the corbra's will not fade as bad when they get hot.

there is no differance in the 99-03, not sure about the 04 but I think they are the same.. If you have 17" wheels you can get a good deal on the cobra kit from

I think 94-95 spindles were one type, and all 96+ spindles were the revised. I know a that in 96 they went to a different steering arm and track width on the spindle, and I don't think they changed it again in 99.
