Where I can find a oil dipstick and tube for a 96 Cobra 4.6 dohc engine? Ford salesman said it is no longer made by Ford and I have had no luck a junkyards.

Did you talk to a "salesman" or someone in Parts,,there's a World of difference in the knowledge between the two

I just ordered one for my 2003 Mach I 4.6 32 valve engine and the Ford parts guy said that they are the same as older ones. I have two 4.6 engines and the location of the dipstick tube is in the same exact place. But you should be able to get the correct one for your car from Ford. The exhaust stud where it bolts on is in the same place also. Both engine are alike. Ron
