How wide of a wheel are you looking to get? That's another determining factor...going with 18x9s?As for the springs, it also depends how low you wanna go. Lots of people swear by the H&R Supersports from Steeda; they'll lower the car about an inch and a half. I've got a set of Ford c-springs waiting to go on my GT...I understand they're a good "bang for the buck" spring; only lowers the car an inch (which is all I want), and stiffens up the ride a bit. Nothing extreme, but a good inexpensive way to go. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good"

The rims I was thinking about purchasing are 18x7.5. That's the widest they come. How big a difference would the 18x9's make as far as the look is concerned and what website(s) are outthere with the 18x9's?

What style wheels are you looking at?18x9 is only an inch wider than stock (at least, my GT's stock width) and it'd give it a meaner looking stance. There are so many wheels available in 18x9...gonna pay about $200+ per wheel though. In the size you're looking at, I just checked TireRack.com, and you could go with 245/40/18, or 285/35/18 (that may be a bit wide). ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good"

Any wheel from 1994-2004 should fit on your '94. I'm pretty sure they're the same lug pattern. As for the wheels difference...Cobra Rs seem to have thinner spokes than regular Cobra wheels. However, there was no "regular" Cobra in 2000, just the Cobra R. So whoever is listing 2000 Cobra wheels probably made a typo. Here's the 2000 Cobra R wheel: And if you look at the picture of my GT above, those are the stock wheels that came with it. But they were originally used on 2001 Cobras (1999 Cobras got a wheel just like that, but they were satin, not polished) ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" [This message has been edited by IIGood (edited 01-25-2004).]
