I didn't think my car had Speed Sensitive Volume (SSV)...thought it was only on Cobras or the Mach 1000 system. But my GT with the Mach 460 has it. That is too cool.

Only took me 7 months...

It very well should be on all Mach 460s.

To activate it:
Push and hold the volume control/power knob for 5 seconds.
The display will then read "SPEED VOL 0"
Use the SEL up and down arrows (to the right of the display) to change this. It goes up to 7.

I have mine set at 3 now, and it's pretty good for city driving.

Yeah, the volume goes up as your speed goes up.

I like it as I like to enjoy the proper mix of music *and* engine. One cannot overcome the other.

I found another useless toy today too on the radio...it can display the name of the radio station you're listening to. It's the first option when you push the "MENU" button. Turn that option on, and there it is.

Just the geek in me being fascinated. Carry on.

I found both the SSV and RDS on my 02 Mach 460. Some of the radio stations even display the song/artist that is playing, although a couple of stations are slow to update the information.
