It's unclear from the photos -- what replaces the beehive? Mesh? Screen? Is it necessary to remove the pony's corral? Looks great -- the beehive looks cheesy -- just curious what replaces it. -j

Thanks for the complements gang. I love that look on the front end now...saw it at work tonight before going in; parked under one of the lot lights, and the car just looked so mean. Joe, basically, a gap replaces the honeycomb/corral on the grille. It's kinda like looking through a newer Cobra's grille, only without having the expensive bumper. Removal of that honeycomb/corral piece is necessary for the grille delete installation. It's not hard to do, but it's tricky...there's a total of 6 screws...2 are plastic "rivets" that are on top, those are no problem. The other four are 7 mm screws attached under the grille, underneath the bumper cover...you've gotta bend the grille and cover forward to access them. There is not much room to do this, but just enough to get 'em. Tricky, and a pain to do, but by no means impossible. Ah, here's a better shot of the delete kit from my pictures... And the parts for the install: ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" [This message has been edited by IIGood (edited 09-02-2003).] [This message has been edited by IIGood (edited 09-15-2003).]
