Does anybody know which model of Good Year tire comes on the 99+ GTs from the factory? I know the sidewall says Eagle, but upon comparing online pictures of tires, I believe it looks to be the Good Year Gatorbacks.

I need an answer "quick" if anybody can help. Got a flat today, the tire can't be repaired (sidewall damage...grrr), and I need just one new tire. Shops in the area, even Ford dealer, don't have any in stock...need to order from the warehouse.

I was told the factory tires were Gatorbacks by Amrica's Tire when I started looking for replacements.

I ordered a pair of Gatorbacks yesterday (after poking around Tirerack.com a little, comparing tread patterns), and dang...those suckers aren't cheap for a stock tire. Tricky to find too! Nobody had 'em in stock, the shop I ordered them from could get them by this afternoon, so I'm going up tomorrow morning to get them mounted.

I went through the stock gatorback b/s and figured the F1 Goodyear was a much better tire and was a lot cheaper. After putting them on I never thougt about that decision again.

I ended up replacing mine with Yokohama A520's. Been pretty happy with them.
