My better half will be getting her own '03 soon that will be her daily driver, even in the winter. Am planning on getting four good snow tires for the winter months. Wanted to mount them on standard 16" steel wheels with hubcaps. Won't look pretty for the winter but then I can switch back over to the fair weather aluminum rims/tires in spring. This avoids having to mount and remount tires on the aluminum rims at each season change. I have been looking and cant find 16" steel wheels offered for a Mustang. Is there a reason why any 5 lug 16" steel wheel wouldn't work? Anyone got a good source for a set of new rims?

Well, as long as it's got the same offset and bolt pattern, I don't see why they wouldn't work.

I entertained that idea myself this past winter, but never followed through. I've got the 17" Bullitts on the car year-round, but I still have the stock 15" wheels in the garage.
