Good grief! I was browsing Collector Car Trader Online last night, and saw several 1999 Cobras for a good chunk under $20K. There's one down in Norfolk for $14,995...another one in VA Beach for $16,995...and a third down there in Southern VA for under the $17K mark. It's just amazing...maybe it's me, but it seems like it took forever for prices on '94 Cobras to fall through the floor like that. I tell ya, if I wasn't so hell-bent on saving for an '05, I'd probably be calling the places up asking to check them out. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project

Frank the problem around here (SoEastVA) is we have over 8 SVT dealers and several Saleen dealers..you'll find a Cobra or Saleen at every stop light..dime a dozen here..and belive it or not I saw 2 Bullits in the Va Pilot last Friday for around 20K..got them too everywhere.Heck in the last two weeks I have seen 3 of the new Thunderbirds tooling down Mercury Blvd (our main drag sorta speak).. Seeing a Cobra,Saleen or Classic Mustang here is no big deal, there like fleas on a dogs back thus the prices are out of line for the Nation I belive. Siednote: My Buddy Jim bought a new '94 Cobra off the lot for..ready..19,995 and still has it. [This message has been edited by mustangs68 (edited 03-04-2003).]

Thanks for the info guys...and Carole, thanks for the offer.I was wrong about one of them...the third one is actually in Manassas for $16,9xx. If I were to consider any, I'd probably try that one first since it's up my way. But those other ones down y'alls way would definitely be worth the drive to save a couple grand. Sam, if I ever do end up considering a Cobra (maybe in a couple years when the '03s are under $25K? ), I'll keep SoEa VA in mind. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project
