There is a '99 Roush Mustang for sale on base. I'm just a little courious since it still has the 35th Anniversary Badging and GT badging on it. To me, it looks like a kit was added and the seller is using the "Rouch" name to add value to the Stang.Any insight on this Stang? Or am I completly off base? Thanks. It's certainly difficult to say. With Roush Performance selling the needed parts to make a darn convincing clone (while at a steep price), it's hard to tell on the surface what's real and what isn't.However, as you know, 1999 GTs had the "GT" badge located only on the decklid, to the left of the license plate due to the 35th Anniversary badges on the fenders. Looking through some members rides over on fnsweet.com (a Roush fan site), it appears Roush replaced the GT trunk emblem with the Roush emblem. Leaving no trace of whether the car is a GT or a V6, but only for 1999. After 1999, Roush left the GT emblems on the fenders to differentiate between the V6 and the GT. If you really wanna look into it, check out the door jamb. Below the factory data tag, there should be a Roush serialized data tag. They only do this on cars they convert the first time around...I remember reading that Roush will do conversions to cars purchased as regular V6s or GTs, but they don't get the data tag. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project [This message has been edited by IIGood (edited 02-05-2003).]

Thanks for the info Frank. I need to take a closer look at this car. The price is relatively cheap. HHHHMMMMM..........Dave & Terri ------------------ '65 Mustang Fastback '02 Explorer XLT I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it! We have enough youth, how about a fountain of smart?

There's also different stages of a Rousch. Stages I, II, and III. I'm not sure of all the intricacies, but I think Stage I is almost purely cosmetic. Stage II is adding like brakes and non-hp stuff. Stage III turns it into a snarling beast with a SC, etc. You can figure out the price tag deltas with those stages too!

Exactly. Stage 1 has a little bit of power to it, because it does add the dual exhaust. Stage 1 can be had on either the V6 or the GT. Stage 2 and 3 are for the GT only. The one that is purely cosmetic is the Sport package...that's on the V6 only, adding just the body effects and Roush banners. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project
