Just found out through my salesman AND www.mach1registry.com that production of the 2003 Machs is being held up for at least 3-4 weeks for "quality" issues. Nobody seems to know exactly what's going on, but it's affecting the Cobras also. Whatever the Mach and the Cobra have in common is probably the culprit. I know there are at least two M&M members who have ordered Mach 1's, so I wanted to pass this info along. The website I mentioned above is an excellent source of info on the car and what's going on. There's even a guy who lives up in Detroit who's been taking spy photos of some of the new Machs that made it through production sitting in the waiting to ship parking lot. Pretty cool. Check it out!------------------ Sub Stanger/1990 LX 5.0 convertible; 2003 Mach 1 (on order!!) Good point Steve. My friend just got his engine in his Charger. 9 long months. I got no problem with Mopar. It's just Chevy I really don't like.

I've worked at both mopar and gm garages and I'd have to say gm is VASTLY superior. Mopar's engineers are on crack from what I could tell.

Steve, I saw the great news this morning!! Hopefully I'll be seeing a VIN here in the next couple of weeks! I'm getting a little nervous about that as I'm number 4 on the list of 4 orders at my dealership. There's been so much talk lately about Ford actually making fewer Mach 1's than were originally said....I just hope it's not true!!

I'd be willing to bet that they will build all that they can sell. They'll probably keep it to 6500 for the 03 model year, and then offer the Mach 1 again in 04. Ford needs the sales and they KNOW they have a winner!!! ------------------ Steve - M&M Member #690 '90 Limited Edition Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible '67 Mustang Coupe (For Sale) '03 Mach 1 Azure Blue (On order) Member: Vancouver Island Mustangs Association; 1990 Limited Edition Mustang Registry Steve's 1990 Limited Edition Convertible Website
