Sad.

I'm kinda surprised that you couldn't get him for theft at that point. Owner of the "airstrip" could get him for trespassing. Lady needs a creative lawyer.

I actually had this happen to my '66 once. Took it to a shop to have the engine steam cleaned. Came back to get it and they had over 50 miles on it. I flipped, but short of the Better Business Bureau, there wasn't much I could prove in court.

Good thing I didn't have a few grenades laying around. They did a lousy steam cleaning job too....

That would anger me to no end.I have had my 03 Cobra back to dealership once when power window didnt go up during rain storm.They always treat me and my car carefully.My main problem would be lawyer fees after I got hold of said tech.
