I just installed a grille eliminator kit on my '99 V6 coupe. I wasn't too fond of the honeycomb and corral...it looked okay, but I thought a plain opening (like on the Cobras of the same year) would be neat. So I ordered the kit from Classic Design Concepts for $115, and just got it installed today. Pictures to follow.

One piece in the kit comes unpainted, so I painted it up in satin black. Installation took me about an hour this morning...I painted it earlier this week. It looks pretty cool, I think. At least a cheaper alternative to buying a Cobra bumper to acheive the same look. Check out the pics:

Whatcha think?

I like it. Is it a direct bolt in, or does it require any drilling or other modification?

Direct bolt-in. Little bit of a pain to get the old grille out, and one (and a half) minor instructions are left out of the included installation instructions.

Took me about an hour, like I said...they say it'll take a half hour. All after painting.

Very very nice. I hate the corral around the pony, set it free~
