Randy, I know you favor the JMS chips, and I think Diablo are the only 2 chips that give power all through acceleration and not at just WOT. Can you ball park me on the approx gain in HP and Torque on a stock 2V '02 4.6...only mods are K&N air filter and DELTAFLOW Flowmaster 3 chamber muffs. I know they want the computer # off the car...I forgot where they said it was. Thanks for the help... By the way...according to my G tech...with the New Muffs and K&N, it registered 239 Rear Wheel HP... With a 15% drop (minimum) from flywheel HP (260 stock)(and approx 221 RWHP stock) I figured I picked up at least 18 RWHP...Is that possible ???------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red '02 GT, Torch Red "If I knew I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself !"

I think Diablo is a much better chip than the JMS chip. I have been working with a tuner here in Austin. He installed a eec-tuner on my 96 GT and I can now tune my own car with my laptop. In working with him and others on how to tune my supercharger, I have learned a great deal about the factory computer. You must be able to modify bank 8 to make performance changes such as fuel curve changes. Diablo can modify bank 8 and JMS does not modify bank 8. No autologic chips modify bank 8 because of an old lawsuit. Diablo can burn custom chips also. We have shops here in Austin that will run your car with a wide band sensor in the exhaust and send the info to Diablo for a custom chip. You can make very good power with a custom tune, and you can make good power if you have a common setup that falls into a "off the shelf" tune from Diablo.

Another thing that I have learned is that you are in WOT most of the time. The tables that determine WOT are based on load and throttle position. It doesn't take much to get into WOT. The defaults on my chip range from 65% load at 3000RPM to 25% load at 5000RPM and 0% load at 6000RPM.
