Does anyone out there know how to troubleshoot the cruise control on a 98 Mustang? I am extremely happy with my car but I would like to see if I can fix it before taking it to a shop and not having my car for at least a day. It has 36000 miles on it so you would think that it should still be going strong. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the horn work? Is the ABS light flashing?

A Welcome to Suffolk VA from Hampton Va.Our 95's have had no trouble with CC so I'm no help here  But if your lookin' for a Good Dealership I recommend Bowditch Ford as they have always been very good to me. again Welcome to M&M-enjoy and post often

Your best best is the shop. I've never had to troubleshoot mine. Heck, I don't even use mine.Welcome to M&M. Post often...the adiction doesn't take long to form. ------------------

Welcome to mustangsandmore....I think you'll like it here  . As far as the cruise-control, thats something I'd let the dealership deal with myself.------------------

can you give me some info on what it is doing. Is is not working at all or is it slipping.Have you checked the fuses, sorry if that insults you, but you would be amazed ------------------

I never had a problem with mine but when I took it in for an oil change a couple years ago they made me have it fixed cause of the recall------------------
