Anyone know the curb weight of a stock '02 GT.....can't seem to find it in my owner's manual, and door sticker as GVWR 4420 lbs...
What the hell does that mean ????------------------

I have 3430 for the 2000 model, which should be very close. The GVWR stands for Gross Vehicle Weight Rating which includes the weight of the car, all passengers, and the maximum cargo it can hold. ------------------

I don't know. I think you are the only one with an 02 on here too... it's not in the manual?Mike

You can usually take 200x4 off the GVWR and get a pretty close weight approximation.

Thanks Guys...I was figuring around 3500 to 3600 without passengers....
And MIKE...I got my '02 on October 10th...As far as I could tell I had the first '02 in the Philadelphia area......
I may regret it, but was shopping and could have had an '01 Bullitt but in black.....
I liked the collector value of the Bullitt...but I really wanted it in Green, and no dealer could find me one...I saw this Torch Red GT on the lot...said if that's a stick I'm buying it.....looked at it, it was a 5 speed and low and behold it was an '02.
Bought it that day......
Only thing is instead of the 0% financing I had to "Settle" for 2.9%, still great financing and thought the extra year would more than make up for the slight interest in the payments.
I was sure I had seen it in the manual (curb weight), but checked yesterday and could not find the weight. Then again, I'm getting old and senile.  ------------------

Just Found it....3241 lbs curb weight for the '02 GT...
