OK, I have found out what a certain trouble code means on my 1996 Mustang GT.

The BANK 1, SENSOR 1 is bad...what does this mean?

For the record, my car has two oxygen sensors IN FRONT OF the catalytic converter, and two more oxygen sensors AFTER the catalytic converter.

I am somewhat certain that "Bank 1" means passenger side, but I'm not sure, and I don't know which sensor is "Sensor 1".

Are there any professional technicians or other people who are experienced enough to tell me what "BANK 1, SENSOR 1" means when I am talking about oxygen sensors?

I sure don't wanna replace the wrong one...those things are EXPEN$IVE!
