As Mike (71ragtop) mentioned in his Bullitt thread, the build sheets for '99-up (most of 'em anyway, I guess) can indeed be found on the inside of the rear bumper.I just found my car's build sheet in this location, but it wasn't as easy to get for me as it was for Mike. Mine was actually kinda folded and crumpled up between the two support beams, and there was a piece of tape at the top of the paper. I only saw a little bit of the paper sticking out from between the bottom of the beams...so I gently tugged, and boy was it tough. I even ripped a small part of it. But once it got to a certain point, it just slid right out. Too bad the upper half of the paper is 98% faded/unreadable. Now if I could just figure out what everything means... ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project

Thanks, Mike and Frank! I found it. But I can't get it out of there. It is tightly wedged between the frame member and that dark gray styrofoam stuff & it's pretty fragile after almost 20,000 miles. But I'm on the case now.

I found mine underneath the spare tire. I lifted the sound dampening mat under the tire and there it was. It was very faded as well, and really wasn't legible. The codes listed on it were just the codes to determine what options the car has (Leather vs. Cloth, etc)------------------ 99 Chrome Yellow GT Mods: It's confidential! http://www.YellowMustangRegistry.com

That's *exactly* where mine was. Be vewwy vewwy carefuw. It took me about 5 minutes of slow, but firm tugging to get it loose. Like I said in the original post, it'll be tough to a certain point, then it'll just come right out. Now on to my next treasure hunt...I'm hearing people have found 2 extra remotes for the keyless entry underneath their backseat. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project [This message has been edited by IIGood (edited 05-14-2001).]
