F5AE= '95 (F5) Ford (A) engine parts (E)

Just like the infamous E7 heads are '87s (E= 80's, 7= 7). But that only tells you the design year and original casting year.

Well, I found my 2000 heads. I also found the entire engine with 2000 miles for $650. Couldn't pass it up. I am swapping it into my 96.
