David, check out www.kbb.com The online blue book value can give you a good indicator of what the car should be worth.Plus, since you've seen the car, you can determine the shape and condition of the car and factor that in, better than we ever could. If you want a second opinion other than Kelly Blue Book, you can also try www.edmunds.com Stewart ------------------ Got Milk? :-)~~ If you go fishing, bring a fishnet you might catch a hummingbird 1990 Platinum GT (my poor baby's sheet metal has been violated!) - Some mods, but not enough! 1996 Blue Crown Vic - Suspension and exhaust mods, but nothing else...YET! Kelley Blue Book ( www.kbb.com ) says that the car is worth $16,440 (retail) $12,395 (trade-in)in your area. Auto Trader is showing this car for sale in Kentucky for anywhere from $11,000 to $15,000. So it looks on the surface that it is a good deal. If she REALLY loves it and you can't talk her into a GT, then go for it.Mike

Thanks guys,That's what I wanted to know. Stewwie I haven't seen it yet but Cheryl knows what she likes and is a picky person when it comes to her car(s). Mike I've been telling her for months that her next car was going to be a mustang with some letters or a name behind it. (GT, HO, SHO, Saleene, R, etc.) LOL Came home last night from a company outing (beer business and more beer) and she hit me with it. She would be perfectly happy with a four cylinder but figured the V-6 would be a good compromise. Thanks for the help it looks like I'll be looking at it tonight after work (and in all likelyhood be driving it home). David

And David, be sure you have the M-U-S-T-A-N-G on the rear done in white letters... We have both our 95s done in gray/silver with black and gray pinstripes down the sides..sam
