I don't have any ideas, but I can say,,,WELCOME TO M&M, JOHN! Sounds like a cool project. What direction do you plan to take it; street cruiser, dragstrip pounder, chromed-out show car, or ??? Do you already have some FE parts gathered? Ryan P.S. Gotta give ya a BIG THUMBS UP vote for the Toploader! Long Live the STICK! [This message has been edited by Ryan Wilke (edited 12-01-2006).]

welcome to m&m john. go up to sams place and introduce yourself!! i would seriously consider a stroked windsor over the 390-428. lighter weight, fits right in, avalibility of go fast parts, more room to work on it when you are finished, probably as much or more power, etc. good luck------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.25 @93mph 1/8 1.54 60ft 50 % of the fun dragracing is meeting people who will give you the shirt off their back to wipe the grease off your hands. I would like to keep the Capri a street car that is driven like once or twice a week in the summers. as for parts i have a couple of top loaders to choose from, a 390 rebuild kit and a 428 with alum. heads, med. riser intake and alum. roller rockers. A built windsor would be cool, but would require money that i really don't have to spend. Besides, 351 fox bodies are common. there isn't that many FE powered ones
