Took the B303 out of my 89 HO. In it's place installed a stock Ford cam 89-93. A well intentioned friend says I should check with the "Ford Guys" to make sure the roller lifters will work with the different came. This engine is a Motorsport HO circa 1990 or so and has about 14-15,000 miles. The lifters were in good shape and all components went back in the same bores, etc. Was very careful as have never done this type of engine work-body and paint is my deal. Appreciate your feedback.Engine going in my 68 cv with a fresh AOD and EFI. Wavered between EFI and carb but have the parts so am going for it.

if it is a roller cam, you should have no problems. just never mix and match with a flat tappet cam. good luck------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.25 @93mph 1/8 1.54 60ft 50 % of the fun dragracing is meeting people who will give you the shirt off their back to wipe the grease off your hands.
