Wow, I did some research, because I found a straight and solid 84 GT-350 20th Anniverery coupe. It is a 5.0 EFI with an AOD tranny. The engine is disassembled and the tranny is still in place. The odometer shows 22,ooo miles. It has drag type wheels on it so maybe it was raced here in Alaska. It has some wear on the seats but only the paint is bad from peeling the clear coat (?) off.

Does any one know the issues with the EFI , (new version this year?) and the AOD transmission (also new(?)). only a few of these were made so I was thinking of buying it for a quick project. Is it a big deal as a "stock" 20th Anniversity model ?

I thought the EFI induction wasn't brought into production until SOME of the 1985 models, since some '85 Stangs were still carb'd cars and some were EFI'd.

But hey, what do I know...?

EFI was a mid 1984 introduction on the 5.0 Mustang and Capri.
It was actually introduced in 1981 on the Lincoln.
