Wow, I did some research, because I found a straight and solid 84 GT-350 20th Anniverery coupe. It is a 5.0 EFI with an AOD tranny. The engine is disassembled and the tranny is still in place. The odometer shows 22,ooo miles. It has drag type wheels on it so maybe it was raced here in Alaska. It has some wear on the seats but only the paint is bad from peeling the clear coat (?) off. Does any one know the issues with the EFI , (new version this year?) and the AOD transmission (also new(?)). only a few of these were made so I was thinking of buying it for a quick project. Is it a big deal as a "stock" 20th Anniversity model ? ------------------ WAYNE CURTIS 2005 Mustang GT "Legend" Satin Silver,Premium,Interior upgrade,Charcoal leather, cast wheels,

I thought the EFI induction wasn't brought into production until SOME of the 1985 models, since some '85 Stangs were still carb'd cars and some were EFI'd. But hey, what do I know...? Ryan

EFI was a mid 1984 introduction on the 5.0 Mustang and Capri. It was actually introduced in 1981 on the Lincoln.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
