Has anyone installed or does anyone know about those rear shock tower braces? Where do they install? Are they worth the effort? Will they work on a convertible?------------------ '73 Convertible, 351C 2V '91 LX Convertible 5.0 Member: Valley Forge Mustang Club "Tank, I need an exit." Looks like a bolt in deal to me. Convert should not matter. I don't see why youwould need one unless you plan on doing some serious road racing. We don't have one in either of our Fox cars.

I installed subframe connectors, a strut tower brace and a lower chassis brace. They really stiffened up the chassis. The car feels more like my Explorer. I was just wondering if it is worth spending $85 on this rear brace. The goal here is to make the car handle like it's on rails. Next is springs, struts and rear control arms. ------------------ '73 Convertible, 351C 2V '91 LX Convertible 5.0 Member: Valley Forge Mustang Club "Tank, I need an exit." I guess that I can see it enhancing the handling characteristics by more stiffening.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
