I purchased an alternator of 200 amps and would like to know if I can use it in my car which I have an OEM stock 1990 5.0 Mustang????

I imagine if you have the appropriate wiring and fuse protection you can.
Police cars all have high output alternators.------------------

It depends on the physical size compared to your original.------------------
