HELP!! Ok this isnt a major issue just annoying. 1988 Convertible, I am having trouble with the rear quarter window. The motor works ok, but partway down the gears just slip against each other.I went to Autozone and they show not being able to get the rear one. Anyone got some knowledge of this issue and what to do with it? Thanks!

The nylon gear is stripped. Motor is good. All you need is a gear set which you can get at NAPA and other "real" auto parts stores in the Help brand. K Thanks Money, unfortunately the parts stores like NAPA around here are the ones that dont stay around long, but you see the chain stores show up more. I think there may be a few more underlying issues. When the window is up you can move it back and forth so I spose I may have to check into the mechanism. Now to get to it :P
