Mike; what kind of numbers are you putting down? I'd e-mailed you a while back and asked you about your 7.5 and you said that it seemed to be holding up fine. I've got one with rear discs that I was considering running unless I could figure out how to make the discs on it fit my 8.8.

well i guess it really aint to bad mooney, i have only broke 2 sets of gears in about 6 years. this time the cap that holds the gears in broke and then the gears went, i think. but i just think i need to upgrade to the 8.8 hoping it will be a little stronger. i run 7.20s-7.30s in the 1/8th with 1.55+- 60 ft. times. my best guesstimate on horsepower is about 375+-.------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.25 @93mph 1/8 1.54 60 ft. http://community.prestage.com/Member+Pages/789.aspx M&M member #839

The 94-98 rear axle assemblies out of the GTs and Cobras will also work, and they come with disk brakes. The only thing is they are a little wider, but I have heard of a bunch of people using them.Scott [This message has been edited by Scott G (edited 03-07-2005).]
