I recently converted my 88 GT to MAF. The EEC is an 89 california spec A9S and harness. The problem I have is, when I turn the key on I am only getting 3.9 volts to the fuel pump relay. I have chased all of the wires and discover the red wire from the FP relay through the dash harness is going to the green connector in the right side kick panel. After the connector the wire changes from red to O/Y and goes into the #6 pin on the EEC. "The kicker" every wiring schematic I have researched shows this O/Y wire is supposed to be red and routed to the EEC relay where it will draw it's 12V to operate the fuel pump at start. All schematics I have reviewed show an O/Y wire going to the speed sensor from the #6 pin. Bottom line is, I'm thinking of disconnecting this pin and routing a red wire to the green connector as all of the schematics show. Am I missing something?
