I have an 81 mustang with a 2.3L 4cyl.I drive it every day,but the last month it has eating ignition control modules. They last about 5 to 7 days then it starts to misfire until I install a new module again. What could be causing the problem, the pick up coil in the distributor, the primitive computer, the ignition coil?

Welcome to M&M ! The only thing that I can think of that would cause that problem would be inferior modules. Look at the botom of one that has failed and see if there is any evidence of melting.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS!
