have you cleaned the throttle body with choke and carb cleaner?? sometimes it will get clogged up with gunk and create a lean condition. but usually it will happen when you stop at a stoplight etc. good luck

I'm still not quite sure what you're asking. If it's in park/neutral and you rev it, it stalls. When you're driving in gear it doesn't stall. Give it a little gas in park/neutral it's ok. Is that right?

Take a look at the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV). It also acts like an anti-stall dashpot when you let off of the gas. It could be dirty, clogged, stuck or just not working.

Assuming you have a 5.0, a common problem is for the screen under the PCV valve to clog. This forces crankcase gasses and vapors back through the hose that goes from the oil fill to the throttle body. (Backwards flow) This has a tendancy to clog the IACV with oil.
