Last night I was removing the windshield washer reservior and pump to replace the washer pump in my '91 LX 5.0. This is all inside of the LF fender, above the horns. I noticed a wire and what looks like a capped plug directly below the washer reservior attached to the inner fender by a plastic clip. What is it? I don't think this car has a low washer fluid level light on the dash although there are spades for it on the bottom of the reservior. (I think the washer reservior was replaced before.)

Do you have any problems with it?
No? Then don't worry about it.
:-)

j/k...Any chance for a picture to better explain it?

Sometimes there are "hangers" on the harnesses that don't really go anywhere.
How many pins? what shape? etc.

As far as I know it's not causing any problems. Ya know, I'm just an extremely curious creature, Velocity. I'll be installing the washer reservior later today. I'll try to get a pic of it.

I noticed a couple of those two-pronged 'hangers' right behind the headlights. I'm guessing they would be for fog lights if this were a GT.

Yeah, they would be for the fog lights.
There are lots of hangers under the dash as well, I've found about 5 so far, just under the dash alone.
