Last night I was removing the windshield washer reservior and pump to replace the washer pump in my '91 LX 5.0. This is all inside of the LF fender, above the horns. I noticed a wire and what looks like a capped plug directly below the washer reservior attached to the inner fender by a plastic clip. What is it? I don't think this car has a low washer fluid level light on the dash although there are spades for it on the bottom of the reservior. (I think the washer reservior was replaced before.)------------------

No? Then don't worry about it.
:-)j/k...Any chance for a picture to better explain it? Sometimes there are "hangers" on the harnesses that don't really go anywhere.
How many pins? what shape? etc.

As far as I know it's not causing any problems. Ya know, I'm just an extremely curious creature, Velocity. I'll be installing the washer reservior later today. I'll try to get a pic of it.  I noticed a couple of those two-pronged 'hangers' right behind the headlights. I'm guessing they would be for fog lights if this were a GT. ------------------

Yeah, they would be for the fog lights.
There are lots of hangers under the dash as well, I've found about 5 so far, just under the dash alone.
