Velocity0 Gearhead Posts: 330 From: Burnaby, BC Canada Registered: Apr 2001	posted 08-13-2004 12:13 AM well, I finally got myself a donor car for my 5L swap. (2 years later) anyway, I've recently heard people talking about how you should swap out your crossmember and control arms for strength reasons. is this true? Keep, in mind I'm going to keep the 4 cyl springs for a while with 5.0L brakes. I know I have to change the spindles but I don't think there is anything else suspension wise in the front that has to be changed. (except swaybar) any thoughts? IP: Logged
wildfire466 unregistered	posted 08-14-2004 10:23 PM I ripped out my stock K-member from my Fox 4 cly. I also ripped out a K-member from a GT. The K-members look the same but your right on the spindels and struts. I went with a QA1 K-member and lower control arms to save 100 lbs off the front end.
