at 2,000 rpms I can take off in first gear, but if its any lower like 1,500 or around there my car stumbles and stalls. I think thats a little high dont you? Im afraid to burn my clutch is there anyway I can lower it?

Its a 1993 5.0 LX 5 speed, it has an under drive pully on the Alternator if that matters.

Anyways thanks in advance I wont respond till tomarrow sometime Im off to go camping!

I would think you will have to take it in to a shop and check for codes. Just off the top of my head it sounds like a dirty MAF Sensor. What happens is the fiber from the air filter sometimes get's on the sensor and will contaminate it. The sensor has tamper proof screws (Napa sells bits to remove the screws). I'd have the codes read first before messing with the sensor. To clean the sensor you will need a clean spray bottle of rubbing Alcohol and a cotton swab. Spray the sensor and very lightly wipe the wires. Some use carb cleaner but that will leave a residue on the wires.

Onec ya get the codes read post what ya find.
