Um, if you wish I can put you in contact with Damon Sea. He is switching from 428 to 460. Here is a pic from my web site. Les ------------------ http://www.geocities.com/wildfire1mustang/

I`ve been running 390/428 FE big blocks in my 78 Fairmont since 1988. I am not aware of any swap kits. Everything on my car, from motor mounts, oil pan mods, headers, clutch linkage, etc was made locally be either myself, or by buddys. I have simple, solid steel motor mounts, use a modified 4x4 FE pickup truck oil pan, & TomP built the headers.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA M/Stock 302 5speed. well rory that just sucks for us "fe" guys huh? i figure i would have to modify some parts like you said but not all, on the sub with headers could i get away with 2wheel drive truck or 4wheel drive truck headers? or even merc car headers maybe? do they even make block huggers for the "fe"? anyways with the motor mounts i was wondering if i could get basically any set for the fe and just weld them to the frame
