i messed with it all day today, i ended up putting the material from the top i bought on the frame from my car, it was not a fun job, but it looks a lot better then the duct tape that was holding my old one together.. only problem now is i can't seem to get it adjusted right.. the top just won't fold its self, it works ok if i reach up and help it, what am i missing? anybody know any tricks to adjusting it to work? thanks in advance..

Re: badmav70

Did didn't say if it was folding OK before the top removal so here's my take...

Sometime the pump can get air in it. Maybe by moving it around with out pwr it traped the air?

The pump has a rubber plug. Try and pull out the plug (it can be difficult). Be carefull as not to destroy the plug. You will hear a hissing if ya got air. Now as far as servicing it.. I use Dextron Tranny fld. You can get a cheap Turkey baster and service the pump with fluid.

I reinstall the plug and run the pump a few times then recheck for air.

See ya!
Les
