I think what has happened is that i'll worn out my clutch plate, but i'm not sure. My car is slow on aceleration all the sudden and it sounds as if my clutch isn't fully engaged. What's going on?

Sounds like you just need to adjust your clutch cable.

In some models you can also pick up the clutch pedal. Pull it up with your hand as high as you can then re-engage it with your foot. You can do this a half a dozen times or so, but I would take it for a test drive between each attempt to ensure you don't over do it.

do your RPM's go up when you have no acceleration? You don't have that nice burning smell yet do you?
