Anyone have a tip on getting an aluminum intake to seal? The aluminum intake on my 88GT is not sealing around the bottom of a couple ports and oil is getting sucked into the cyclinders. Mr.Gasket makes a ultra seal gasket that is suppose to seal better than a regular gasket. Should I try that and maybe some RTV?

You might check to see if the intake gasket surface is flat...

Also, the lower intake might have been machined for an engine that had the heads milled/block decked, and the ports are actually protruding into the cam valley...
I use ROL high performance intake gaskets, I will not use anything from Fail-Pro or anyone else. The paper-based gaskets with the silicon beads don't like cast iron heads and like to shrink and shift with street useage(the ultra-seal gaskets are this way, I believe).
