HEY GUYS JUST A SIMPLE ?? I HAVE 90 MUSTANG 5.0 AND IM ABOUT TO BOLT DOWN MY ALUM TRICK FLOW HEADS ON IT BUT I WANT TO KNOW IF ON HEAD BOLT SPEC TORQ DIFFERENT FROM IRION HEAD TO ALUM, OR DO I GO WITH THE SAME MANUFACT. SPEC STEP 1 55-60 STEP 2 65- 72 IS THIS CORRECT ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT THANK FELLAS

I would check with the manufacturer of the aluminum intake for the torque specs, but I'm 99% sure you don't want to torque it down as hard as you would the iron equivalent. You'll strip it for sure.[This message has been edited by GTRocks (edited 12-02-2003).]

THANK ALOT BUDDY TRICK FLOW TECH LINE GAVE ME THE INF,ON SPEC ON THE HEADS BUT U WERE RIGHT U DONT TORQ THESE BOLT THE SAME AS IRION HEADS, THEY HAVE THERE OWN SPECS THANKS AGAIN

sure i have a 1982 5.0 lts hrad top mustang whit the next modifi:
E-303 ford racing roller camshaft, holley street avenger 670 cfm carburetor, edelbrock performer intake, msd 6a box, ford racing 9 mm ignition wires, electric fan, t-5 tranny whit B&M Ripper, 3.73 rear end gears and a 1993 cobra R wheels, recaro seats and the car is a yellow color.what type of mustang have you pepe?

Pepe I was born and raised in Oceanside Ca. I went to school with (Jr Saeu Used to be #55 for the chargers). Nice to meet a fellow californian. My family still lives there. Now I live in Spokane, Wa....Bruce

nice to meet you guys ive own 7 diferent mustangs the one i have right now is gonna be my first one only for drag racing the cam and eng is too loopy too loud for my neighborhood and ive gotten a few complaints and officers they told me if they this car on the street they will impound but any ways what my car is running right now is a 90 mustang with a 306 solid CROWER cam 565/585exh. with trick flow stage 3 heads and a trick flow r series intake manifold,30 pnd inj 75mm air mass meter 75mm throtle, 175 shot Noz, full after market front and rear suspension with lift bars, borla exhaust this project was just recently finish 1 month ago hopefully after holidays ill be at the track thanks guys.
