Has anyone had a problem with intermittent or not operation of the fuel gauge. If so, what was the problem? Was it the fuel gauge or sending unit? My old 87 used to be intermittent. My 88GT registers full all the time and a friend of mine has the same problem with his 88GT.

I have had two problems wit the fuel guage a broken ground ( which read full all the time).
And the float fell off which read where ever it wanted to.. There is a little ground wire on top of the tank near the sending unit i would check that first..
