My '87 Mustang GT was recently in a hail storm and I'm prepping it for the paint shop. I've found a good hood but need to decide on what to do about the doors. I live in St. Louis where they salt the roads in winter and the Mustang doors all rust at the bottom where the door skin is crimped over. It really can't be repaired satisfactorily, so I see my options as: 1. re-skin the doors 2. new door shells (swap everything over from old doors) 3. used doors from the south or west Any comments on these options? How difficult is it to re-skin a door? Are new door shells available? Thanks, Dan Jones

I would just go with the used Doors option here. There are pleanty of them around my area. I don't think you can still get new Doors, but you could always check year one, or texas mustangs and find out. As for the skins.....I wouldn't really reccomend that, I think you would be better off just replacing the door.------------------ -FISHTAIL 92GT "The Ghetto Sled" CMPS major @ University of MD college park Best ET/MPH thus far: 14.40/100.67mph....damn wheel spin. You can get plenty of used doors around here too but they usually show signs of rust if examined closely. Dan
